Thomas advises clients across Putnam’s Commercial Strategy and Value, Pricing & Access Strategy practice areas, including work on new product opportunity assessments, product launch strategies, and pricing and contracting approaches.

His expertise spans the US and global markets and covers branded therapeutics as well as biosimilars and diagnostics. Recent therapeutic area experience includes solid and liquid tumors, autoimmune conditions, vaccine-preventable diseases, ophthalmology, and cardiology.

Thomas earned his BA in Neuroscience from Dartmouth College, where he conducted research focused on learning and memory, and an MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School, where his coursework and extracurriculars focused on biopharmaceutical commercialization.

Prior to joining Putnam, Thomas worked in clinical neuroscience research at the Joslin Diabetes Center and in New Product Planning at Regeneron.
