Scott has over 18 years of experience advising pharmaceutical and biotech clients ranging from start-up to Fortune 50 on complex commercial strategy issues. Areas of expertise include product positioning and launch strategy, market opportunity identification, value, pricing and access strategies, product demand assessments and forecasting, and portfolio strategy. He has extensive experience utilizing sophisticated primary and secondary market research approaches to inform brand and portfolio level strategy and tactics. He has worked in a wide range of therapeutic areas including oncology / hematology, CNS, nephrology, vaccines, cardiovascular, HIV, hospital anti-infectives, transplantation, and dermatology. Scott is a leader in Putnam’s Commercial practice area and Putnam’s San Francisco office. He has led multiple internal knowledge development initiatives for the firm, including approaches to new product launch planning and strategy development.
Scott joined Putnam in 2004 after graduating from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Biology with a focus on Economics.
