Caroline Shaw

Director, Market Access

Caroline is responsible for managing and delivering systematic and pragmatic literature reviews at Putnam. She has conducted reviews of clinical efficacy, economic evaluations, real-world evidence, health-related quality of life, epidemiology, burden of illness and treatment pathways, as well as HTA and product labeling reviews, to support market access and reimbursement strategies. Caroline has also undertaken primary market research with payers and key opinion leaders to assess market access opportunities, identify reimbursement pathways, and provide strategic recommendations. She has experience in a range of therapeutic areas, including inflammatory bowel disease, oncology, chronic kidney disease, and neurodegenerative disease. Prior to joining Putnam, Caroline spent several years working in academia, performing observational and interventional studies and systematic reviews in the fields of public health and health services research. She holds a PhD in nutrition.
