Anshu leads the Oncology strategy practice from the India office and has been with Putnam for more than 10 years. Anshu has successfully partnered with biopharma clients to support strategic decisions to optimize their early phase portfolio or LCM planning for approved assets. The core areas of focus include commercial opportunity assessments, disease area strategy, asset and LCM clinical development strategy, portfolio strategy, licensing/ acquisition assessments, including due diligence. With a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Anshu has over 20 years of experience in cancer biology, drug discovery, and angiogenesis. Prior to joining Putnam, she was leading the Oncology R&D in an Indian biopharma company, Orchid Research Laboratories. She also has extensive drug discovery and development experience as a post- doctoral researcher and research scientist at Southern Research Institute, Birmingham, AL.
