Putnam welcomes new Partner to the Medical & Scientific Affairs Practice

The firm is pleased to welcome a new Partner to the team, Rudiger Papsch. Based in the UK, Rudi will be a central expert in Putnam’s Medical & Scientific Affairs Practice.

With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Rudi has been working for pharmaceutical companies, consultancies, and not-for-profit organizations in Medical Affairs, Evidence Generation, Value & Access and HEOR.

Rudi has partnered with a wide range of clients, from large- and mid-sized pharma, to EBPs, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations to develop, launch, and provide innovative medical treatments and services to ultimately benefit patients and healthcare systems. His expertise includes medical asset and portfolio strategy, medical evidence strategy, innovative value strategies, cross-functional launch excellence, stakeholder engagement, organizational design and change management. He has experience across a broad range of therapeutic areas including oncology, neurology, cardiology, rare diseases as well as diagnostics, digital health, and medical technology.

Prior to joining Putnam, Rudi was in senior roles at IQVIA, Merck, Servier and Bridgehead. He has been working in Europe, APAC and the US. He has a background in business management and psychology.
