The Recruiting Assistant will be responsible for supporting the firm’s recruiting needs throughout the year. We are seeking a high energy, proactive, and personable team player with exceptional organizational and communications skills. The Recruiting Assistant will support delivery of recruiting targets, maintain our candidate database and ensure a seamless recruiting process for candidates.
Daily responsibilities include:
-Maintain candidate tracking pipeline
-Manage company job postings
-Schedule and ensure successful candidate interviews
-Gather and maintain feedback on all scheduled candidates
-Process offer letters and background checks for new hires
-Respond to internal referrals and outside job inquiries
-Update and maintain HR database
-Assist in other HR/Recruiting events and functions
-Assist in other needs of the firm as needed (Admin, Finance, Market Research, etc.)
This individual will work in collaboration with the HR Manager and Recruiting Coordinator to ensure successful on campus events and internal programs. This individual is expected to assist in the recruiting process in an efficient and timely manner while treating all candidates with courtesy and respect. It is essential that this individual display the professionalism and enthusiasm that are central to our firm’s culture.
Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate would have 1-3 years of administrative experience. Direct experience in a professional services environment is a plus. The successful candidate will have outstanding organizational abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, an outgoing and friendly disposition, and a strong service orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a must.
Associate Consultants gain insight into the strategic issues facing today’s life sciences companies, as well as the specific challenges impacting the healthcare industry. The complexities of the industry provide an opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge of both the science and business sides of healthcare.While responsibilities vary greatly from case to case, Associates are instrumental in developing the building blocks to identify critical issues, develop key analytical components, and ultimately, drive conclusions and recommendations. Through this process, Associates develop sound business and strategy fundamentals and a thorough understanding of solving complex business issues.
We are seeking highly intelligent and self-motivated candidates who have demonstrated excellence and leadership both as undergraduates and during previous internships and/or employment opportunities. Proven analytic abilities, a rigorous quantitative background, and strong problem solving skills are essential. A cumulative GPA of 3.3 is required with 3.5 or better preferred. Economics, finance or science majors are especially well suited for this position. Please note: this is not an entry-level MBA position.
Life Sciences Consultants are a key member of Putnam’s team-based approach helping to lead and manage a team of Associates to complete projects. Working with Managers and Partners you will interact with clients to understand problems, and develop and refine hypotheses to test, structure complex strategic and analytical problems that constitute the core of the team’s work, leverage your substantial science training to optimize commercial strategies for our clients, and lead the entire team to synthesize analyses into key findings and actionable recommendation and participate in delivering these in client presentations.
The perfect candidate for the Life Sciences Consultant position will have a PhD from a top school and demonstrated excellence as undergraduates, graduates and during any previous employment opportunities. Proven analytic abilities, a rigorous background, presentation skills, management experience and a team-oriented attitude are essential. PhDs in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics or Engineering are most desirable. PhD candidates within one year of graduation will also be considered with an anticipated start date by Summer 2020. A demonstrated passion for health care or the life sciences is essential. An active interest in commercial strategy or the business side of health care is preferred.

A working knowledge of the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is also a prerequisite.

We are seeking an experienced market research project manager to support Putnam consulting teams in the design and execution of primary market research studies. The Market Research Manager will be responsible for hands-on project execution including questionnaire development, sample-plan design, data collection oversight, moderation of qualitative interviews, and analysis/reporting. The ideal candidate should have experience leading both qualitative and quantitative primary market research studies from initial design stage through final report delivery. This role will operate within Putnam’s growing Insights division which is tasked with providing support to Putnam consulting teams in all aspects of primary market research.
