Putnam recently conducted its annual Advanced Consulting Skills Symposium at Wentworth by the Sea in Newcastle, NH. The program, with 30 participants is targeted at Associate Consultants and Life Sciences Consultants with who are evolving toward managerial roles. It is designed to reinforce key methodologies in quantitative and qualitative research, improving the efficiencies of workstreams, and to foster in-depth discussions on case-team operations and coaching teams.
The 2-day program also provided an opportunity for participants to connect, have fun, and get to know each other outside the office. After the first day of training, the group participated in a brewery tour through Granite State Growler Tours of local breweries including Tributary, Woodland Farms, Liar’s Bench and SoMe followed by dinner at Martingale Wharf in downtown Portsmouth. The symposium complements our New-Employee Introductory Training, our Advanced Consulting Skills Symposium, and our Case Team Leadership Symposium, all held every autumn, to ensure that colleagues at all levels get opportunities to learn new skills, examine new challenges that accompany role growth, and consider how to improve our methodologies and execution.
