As Pride month kicks off this month, Putnam takes a moment to celebrate the inherent equality of all people and the unique talents and perspectives that individuals of diverse backgrounds bring to our firm and to our broader communities.

“Diversity, inclusion, and respect are at the heart of Putnam’s culture.  We believe diversity drives innovation.  Embracing and valuing our differences brings out the best in our people, in our work and our communities.  At Putnam, our team includes people of all races, genders, religions and sexual orientations, and we are stronger for it” said Matt Riordan, a Partner at Putnam Associates.

Creating an inclusive workplace is driven and supported from within the organization here at Putnam and in our partnerships.  Putnam holds a diversity forum quarterly that includes large and small group discussions where our team members are actively engaged in ensuring our colleagues of all backgrounds are supported to develop to their full potential.  Putnam is proud to support the O4U Business Conference, a non-profit organization helping high-achieving LGBTQ+ undergraduates find rewarding and supportive employment opportunities and BAGLY, the Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth committed to social justice and creating, sustaining and advocating for programs, policies, and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community.
