The challenge

A rare disease research consortium sought to identify barriers to adoption of AI-enabled, point-of-care diagnostic decision support tools, and provide guidance for the ongoing development of new tools

Our solution

We conducted a landscape assessment – including convening an advisory board with leading KOLs and AI diagnostic tool manufacturers – to identify barriers and enablers of adoption of marketed AI diagnostic tools to date
We also provided guidance for ongoing and future tool development

The results

Findings were compiled into both an abstract and upcoming manuscript to be published as official guidance for ongoing AI diagnostic tool development in this rare disease
