Ulrike contributes to and leads a range of projects including the conception, management, and evaluation of HEOR/MA and pricing strategies (national and EU level), as well as value communication.
Prior to joining Putnam, Ulrike gained over 15 years of industry and consultancy research experience. During this time, she developed valuable knowledge of HEOR/HTA methods, pricing and reimbursement (P&R) as well as market access processes for Germany and the Western EU markets in various disease areas (examples: diabetes, anti-infectives; vaccines, oncology, rare diseases).
Ulrike holds a PhD and MSc in economics and is a trained nurse. Her PhD took a mixed methods approach, analyzing the “interaction of different research methods in health economics to support rational decision making in health care” (thesis). This research was cumulative and included of qualitative research, modelling, and data collection and analysis.
