The challenge
  • Client team worked in a TA where common datasets do not provide sufficient visibility; The goal was to future-proof their mid-term data vision and create a data framework that can support market tracking, forecasting, account targeting and AI efforts.
Our solution
  • Putnam conducted workshops to draw a map of data needs driven by cross-functional business needs and aspirations.
  • Working with the team, Putnam identified and prioritized gaps in existing data available holding back the team.
  • Drawing from Putnam’s proprietary data vendor library, we vetted Top 15-20 data/token vendors for their abilities to meet the identified data needs; the data strategy was crafted based on alignment with the client team.
The results
  • We empowered the client to develop the first effort in the US to build a multi-sourced tokenized database that combines two of the leading claims solutions, which adds significantly improved coverage vs. what is available on the market.
