Our client wanted to identify companies and institutions developing AI algorithms to detect a rare disease.
We provided a competitive analysis of AI algorithms for a rare disease. Analysis was from the medical perspective to assess the level of evidence that exists to support each algorithm. We identified institutions and companies developing AI algorithms for the rare disease and mapped the AI algorithms to the patient diagnostic journey. Lastly, we developed a framework to evaluate the level of evidence supporting the AI algorithms.
Overall, we offered strategies for the client to consider regarding its own AI algorithm and competitive AI algorithms for a rare disease.
