Putnam is thrilled to announce the promotions of Ankit Patel, Whitney Amyot, and Gan Tan to partner in our New York and San Francisco offices.

Ankit joined Putnam in 2012 as an analyst after completing a Master’s in Biotechnology from UPenn. He then worked at an HCP education tech company, where he developed new big data and AI-focused product offerings to support biopharma clients on promotional strategies. He has considerable experience across a range of specialty diseases, including oncology, hematology, neurology, immunology, and rare diseases. Ankit has a keen interest in leveraging big data to inform product commercialization strategies and has been involved in building the Data Analytics practice at Putnam.

Today, Whitney’s core practice combines cutting-edge quantitative and qualitative market research insights alongside data analytics to develop strategies that set up early-stage products for long-term success. Whitney has served clients across a broad range of therapeutic areas, with a particular focus on hematologic disorders and malignancies, oncology, immunologic disorders, and emerging cell and gene therapy technologies. In addition to her case work, Whitney has been another vital factor in the growth of the NYC office and in Putnam’s internal learning and development initiatives.
