Putnam announces global promotions, including Sean O’Malley to Partner

We couldn’t be more thrilled as a firm to announce recent promotions in our Boston, San Francisco, New York and London offices across multiple levels including the promotion of Sean O’Malley to Partner in San Francisco.

Scott Gilbert, Partner in the San Francisco office, commented on Sean’s promotion

Sean is an experienced life sciences strategy consultant with expertise in global and US pricing & contracting strategy, competitive landscape assessment, revenue forecasting, M&A/licensing transactions, and portfolio strategy. He has a wealth of experience in specialty pharma and biotech markets including Oncology, Immunology, Endocrinology, Neuroscience, and Anti-infectives. Prior to joining Putnam, Sean was a research scientist in oncology and a consultant at L.E.K. Consulting. He re-joined Putnam to help start an office in San Francisco, after several years at Genentech in Market Planning. Sean holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Molecular Biology and a BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin.
