
Richard Tinsley, Partner
A Partner at Putnam Associates for more than 11 years with over 20 years of strategy experience and 14 years dedicated to healthcare markets, Mr. Tinsley has expertise in pharmaceutical/biotech alliance management, portfolio prioritization, product pricing and payer strategy, physician/consumer growth strategy, promotional mix/spend optimization, organizational restructuring, and product lifecycle management. Most recently, he has worked on strategies involving the changing commercial environment for the delivery of oncology services and on strategies for products post loss of exclusivity. Prior to joining Putnam, he was the Chief Operating Officer of a financial services company overseeing $3.6 billion in client assets. Richard also worked at Bain & Company. His combination of operational and consulting experience provides a valuable perspective with which to understand the needs and pressures of client executives and the businesses they are managing. Richard holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He also has an MA degree in education from Stanford University and a BS degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
