Why Putnam?: Environment
Putnam’s delivery of outstanding work and exceptional value is completely dependent on the talent and motivation of our staff. As a result, Putnam strives to create a positive environment that encourages achievement.
We are a team-oriented company with groups of professionals from all levels responsible for the research, analysis, strategic insight, recommendations and delivery of specific client work. Putnam’s projects have the typical activity peaks and valleys. To help mitigate the swings, most staff are assigned to two projects at one time. Workload varies according to timelines and client needs but Putnam monitors and manages hours to average 55-60 hours per week.
In contrast to many other consulting firms, Putnam does not “live” with clients in their offices. Analysts and Associate Consultants conduct most of their work in our Burlington, Massachusetts office. As professional development progresses to the Consultant level, direct interaction necessitates some travel to client sites but rarely more than two nights per week.
