
Each summer, Putnam hires 2-3 rising seniors from top universities to spend 10 weeks working with a case team on a client project while being immersed in a genuine consulting experience.
Joining Putnam as an intern is an excellent opportunity to gain insight on the strategic issues that face today's corporations, as well as specific changes affecting the healthcare marketplace. Interns work in case teams of 4-7 individuals led by a Manager or Partner.

Interns are also given the opportunity to design their own research projects and present the findings to the entire firm at the end of the summer.
The perfect candidate for the intern position will be a rising senior whose educational background demonstrates success in the areas of economics and statistics and who is strongly considering consulting as a future career option. An interest in healthcare and pharmaceuticals is helpful, as are previous scholastic, extra-curricular and internship-related experiences demonstrating analytical rigor and leadership capabilities.
